The Foundation for Montessori Education hosts an annual refresher course the first weekend in February (Saturday and Sunday) to lift our spirits and our minds. We are happy to invite all AMI diploma holders to join us.
Dr. Montessori observed that when children are allowed freedom in a prepared environment that is suited to their needs, they thrive. Join us for our 24th annual refresher where we will focus on the supports and practical tips in the casa environment that help our children reach optimal points of self-discipline and concentration.
“Only “normalised” children, aided by their environment, show in their subsequent development those wonderful powers that we describe: spontaneous discipline, continuous and happy work, social sentiments of help and sympathy for others. . . .”
Maria Montessori, The Absorbent Mind, 1949
