I have questions about the AMI 3-6 Diploma…
What sets the Foundation for Montessori Education (FME) apart as a Montessori training Centre?
AMI Montessori teacher training first came to Canada in 1971 when Dr. Maria Montessori’s son Mario inaugurated the AMI Teacher Training Center in Toronto. Continuing with the legacy established by her father, Renilde Montessori established the Foundation for Montessori Education (FME) in 1989 as a not-for-profit charitable organization. Our primary purpose remains the same today: to actively promote Montessori principles and practices as an aid to life. We were incredibly fortunate to have Renilde Montessori guide FME for many years. During her time with us, she shared invaluable insights and personal stories about her grandmother. This direct connection offers our trainers, and by extension, our students, a truly unique and profound perspective of Dr. Montessori and the fundamental principles of her work. What are the course prerequisites?
